Washington is threatening Iran to respond to any threat, as happened in Iraq
Baghdad, The United States of America threatened today, Tuesday,
Iran to respond to any threat to its citizens, as happened in Iraq.
In a speech today, US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said: “We will respond to any threat against the Americans, as happened in Iraq.
Pompeo added: “Iran is investing with bombs and missiles at the expense of its people, and therefore it is the one who punish them,” noting that “Iran does not want peace in the region, and continues its threats to Saudi Arabia through the Houthis in Yemen.”
Tensions increased between the United States of America and Iran in the region, after Washington imposed economic sanctions on Tehran, following the withdrawal of the United States from the nuclear agreement between Iran and the major countries, as well as the air strike launched by America near Baghdad International Airport, which resulted in the killing of the previous commander of the Iranian Quds Force Qasim Soleimani.
