Roukoz: To make necessary compromises to facilitate birth of government

MP ChamilRoukoz on Tuesday stepped up calls on political sides to make the necessary concessions to facilitate the birth of the lengthily awaited government.

In an interview with the Voice of Lebanon radio station, the lawmaker stressed the fact that swift cabinet formation would protect Lebanon from foreign developments and strengthen its presence on the international community table.

As for the destiny of Meerab agreement, Roukoz capitalized on the importance of promoting inter-Christian reconciliation, "away from all the secrets that have been leaked." He also called for the preservation of openness, boldness, and trust en route to national reconciliation.
