Sadr Receives Japanese Ambassador To Iraq

Najaf, The leader of the Sadrist movement, Moqtada al-Sadr received the Japanese ambassador to Iraq, "Fumio Iwai" on Tuesday at his residence in Hannana in the center of Najaf.

Sadr's office said in a statement that "The meeting reviewed the various issues related to the strengthening of the relationship between the two countries and the two friendly peoples and ways to develop them."

The statement added that the political and electoral situation in Iraq and its results and dialogues were also discussed, where Sadr presented his vision to form the next Iraqi government, confirming that the government should be patriotic paternalism that promotes the country and makes a difference in the general situation in order to provide a decent and free living for the Iraqi citizen without regard to his belonging. "
