Sarraf to Kardel: Lebanon’s situation stable despite crises

Caretaker National Defense Minister, Yacoub Sarraf, met with UN Secretary-General's representative, Pernille Kardel, to whom he affirmed that "the situation in Lebanon is stable in spite of the ongoing crises."

He stressed that "Lebanon has no intention of attacking anyone, while the Israeli enemy violates the sovereignty of the Lebanese State on a daily basis and in a flagrant form."

The minister also highlighted the importance of the Russian initiative to gradually return refugees to their country in a safe and dignified manner, and to change the international community's view of this return."
