Saudi Paralympic Celebrates 50th Anniversary of the Special Olympics’ International Movement

Riyadh, Dhu, The International Special Olympics (Paralympics) has celebrated of its Golden Jubilee on Friday July 20th to mark the 50th anniversary, with lighting of more than 170 tourist and archeological landmarks, in red, under the slogan "Illumination for integration" across the seven regions of the world.

For its part, the Saudi Special Olympics' committee, in coincidence with the celebration, has illuminated the Kingdom and Palm Towers, respectively, in Riyadh, in red.

The President of the Saudi Special Olympics' Committee Maher bin Saad Aljaded expressed happiness and proud of the Kingdom on this occasion, as it commemorate launching one of the most important humanitarian movements, for people with disabilities, in the world.
