Saudi, Romanian Economy Ministers Discuss Cooperation at WEF 2025

Davos: Minister of Economy and Planning, Faisal Alibrahim, met with Romania’s Minister of Economy, Digitalization, Entrepreneurship, and Tourism, Bogdan Ivan, on Monday during the World Economic Forum’s Annual Meeting 2025 in Davos.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the ministers discussed ways to enhance Saudi-Romanian economic collaboration and exchanged views on global economic developments of mutual concern. The meeting aimed at identifying potential areas for cooperation between the two countries, particularly in sectors such as digitalization, entrepreneurship, and tourism, which are pivotal for both nations’ economic growth.

The dialogue also underscored the importance of strengthening bilateral relations in order to navigate and address the challenges posed by current global economic conditions. Both ministers expressed a commitment to work together towards fostering a more robust and resilient economic partnership.
