Sayegh confirms Druze not hindering cabinet formation

MP Faisal al-Sayegh said on Tuesday that the "Democratic Gathering" had always offered government-related concessions in favor of the country.

"During the last stage, we have not been being reciprocated with the positivity we've been offering. We've been only receiving negative treatment," the lawmaker told the Voice of Lebanon radio station.

Al-Sayegh stressed that the Druze sect was disrupting the formation of a new cabinet, assuring that his political party has never dealt with matters by means of opting to the logic of monopoly.

"The Democratic Gathering's calls for its rights aim to stabilize the country and lead to the formation of an active government that reflects the results of elections," he added.
