Shorter pays farewell visit to SamyGemayel

Kataeb Party Leader, MP Sami Gemayel, on Tuesday welcomed British Ambassador to Lebanon, Hugo Shorter, who paid him a farewell visit upon winding up his mission in Lebanon.

The visit was a chance to dwell on most recent political developments on the local arena, in addition to the current economic situation, as per a statement by Gemayel's Media Bureau.

Gemayel sounded the alarm on the current deteriorating economic situation, underlining the need for a comprehensive structural reform process to deal with the current crisis "before it is too late", statement concluded.
