London: The Saudi Investment Recycling Company (SIRC), a Public Investment Fund (PIF) company, showcased its subsidiaries’ strategic efforts to advance environmental sustainability and build a national marine pollution response system at the recent Interspill 2025 Conference and Exhibition in London, aligning with the Kingdom Vision 2030 and global standards.
According to Saudi Press Agency, SIRC’s participation was highlighted through its subsidiary, Marine Operations for Environmental Services (SAIL), which specializes in oil spill response and environmental incident management. The company’s presence at the exhibition and conference underscored its global role in addressing oil spill incidents and mitigating their severe economic and environmental impacts.
SAIL is internationally recognized as a leading company in the specialized field of marine environmental protection, thanks to its advanced technical capabilities and extensive field experience. These strengths position it among the global pioneers in the sector. SAIL has developed an integrated system that includes a 24/7 monitoring and tracking center, a fleet of specialized vessels, and some of the region’s most advanced rapid-response equipment. This system has proven effective in managing a range of marine pollution scenarios and mitigating their environmental and economic impacts.
During the exhibition, SAIL also highlighted the significant advancement that elevated Saudi Arabia’s leadership in environmental response through the establishment of the regional center for marine pollution emergency response, one of the largest of its kind globally and the largest in the Middle East and North Africa. The company also unveiled mobile centers that provide innovative solutions, enabling rapid intervention during marine emergencies across various locations.
