Iran: We Continue To Export Gas And Electricity To Iraq
BAGHDAD, Iran continues to export gas and electricity to Iraq, reiterating its support for security and unity in the country, the Iranian ambassador to Baghdad Erg Masjedi said.
"Iran wants a strong, secure and united Iraq, it continues to export gas and electricity to it, and it is involved in reconstruction operations in various areas after liberating from terrorism," Masjedi said during a meeting with members of the Iraqi Chamber of Commerce and several businessmen.
For his part, the President of the Iraqi Chamber of Commerce Nabil al-Anbari said "we have submitted to the Iranian ambassador several proposals, most importantly to encourage Iranian companies to enter into a real partnership with their Iraqi counterparts to implement production projects needed by Iraq rather than imported from Iran."
