King Of Jordan Orders To Evacuate Four Iraqi Injured Soldiers
BAGHDAD, Jordan's King Abdullah II ordered the Jordan's military authorities to send a medical plane to evacuate four Iraqi soldiers wounded in an explosion inside the Iraqi border.
The Jordanian news agency Petra said that the head of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Major General Mahmoud Freihat, under the guidance of the Jordanian king, ordered today to send a medical plane to evacuate four Iraqi soldiers because of the seriousness of their injuries.
Petra pointed out that "the wounded soldiers were evacuated to Hussein Medical City after first aid was provided to them at the scene of the accident." The Director General of Medical Services, Major General Saad Jaber, and several members of the Iraqi Embassy in Jordan, including the Iraqi military attache in Amman, received the wounded as soon as they reach the hospital. "
The doctors at Al Hussein Medical City said that the injuries of the soldiers ranged from severe bleeding and amputation of the lower limbs. The medical teams from different specialties in the emergency department provided all the aids and transferred three injuries to the operating rooms to perform all necessary surgical procedures, while the forth one transferred to Surgery Department and his condition is stable.
