Minister of Sports Instructs SR1 mln Support to Clubs Participating, in the AFC Champions’ League

Riyadh, Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal, Minister of Sports instructed to award SR1 million to each club taking part in the current edition of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) championships’ league, set to resume on Sept. 14, in accordance with the AFC decision, in addition to undertaking the cost of accommodation players. of the 4 clubs.
The championship is set to take place, under a grouping system, due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
Riyadh-based Al-Hilal, the AFC reigning champions, and its cross-city rival Al-Nasr, Jeddah-based Al-Ahli and Ta’awon from Buridah, are representing the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in this edition of the AFC championships.
