New victims of the bombing of the International Coalition aircraft east of Syria
BAGHDAD, Twenty civilians were killed by an air strike carried out by International Coalition aircraft on the town of Hajin in the eastern province of Deir al-Zour, state television reported.
"The United States-led coalition aircraft bombed Hajin city yesterday, killing 20 civilians, including nine children and eight women, and damaging homes and property," state television said.
On Friday, 11 civilians, including three women and five children, were killed and dozens were wounded in another bombing of the International Coalition, which targeted the nearby town of Sha'fa, also causing damage to homes.
The Syrian authorities accused the international coalition forces of carrying out repeated strikes on the towns of eastern Deir al-Zour, where the militants of Daesh are active, using phosphorous munitions and cluster bombs.
