OIC Chief condemns terrorist attacks
The Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) condemned, in the strongest terms, the terrorist massacre, which was perpetrated by the terrorist "Daesh" group, in the governorate of Al-Suwayda.
The attack, the deadliest since the start of the conflict seven years ago, left some 220 dead, including women and children, and more than 200 injured.
OIC Secretary-General Dr. Yousef A. Al-Othaimeen voiced full support to the international community in combating the scourge of terrorism. In a statement posted on the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), he said that combating terrorism, extremism and bigotry feature on the OIC agenda priorities. Dr. Al-Othaimeen also strongly condemned the shooting incident which happened last Monday in the city of Toronto, Canada, leaving several innocent people dead and others injured.
