Three members of the federal police killed and wounded south of Kirkuk

KIRKUK, A security source said that members of the federal police were attacked by Daesh elements south of Kirkuk at dawn today.

The source told NINA news agency that the group estimated 10 members of the Daesh attacked a checkpoint of the Federal Police between the villages of Sa'eedi and Sallab of the Rashad district, 75 km south of Kirkuk, and were addressed. He confirmed the killing of a federal policeman and wounding two others.

The Daesh elements had attacked a village belonging to the Abbasi area west of Kirkuk, which resulted in the killing of a policeman and a civilian and the injury of another civilian.
