Two Drones Shot Down Near A Russian Army Base North Of Syria
BAGHDAD, The Russian army announced that its forces at Hameimim Base in Syria shot down two (Drones) fired by gunmen from the area of reducing the escalation in Idlib.
"The Russian air defenses at the Hameimim Base downed two military aircraft launched by armed groups in the northwestern province of Idlib yesterday evening," said Alexei Tsegankov, director of the Russian Center for Reconciliation in Syria, according to Sputnik.
"Over the past 24 hours, the air defenses at Hameimim Base have detected two unmanned aerial drones launched towards the air base, which are controlled by illegal armed groups in the area of reducing escalation in Idlib," he said.
He pointed out that the two incidents did not cause human or material damage, and without affecting the work of the Base.
