Temperature Drop and Dusty Winds Expected in Saudi Regions

Riyadh: The National Center for Meteorology has forecast a noticeable drop in temperatures across several regions in Saudi Arabia, including Al-Jouf, the Northern Borders, Hail, Qassim, Riyadh, and the Eastern regions.

According to Saudi Press Agency, dust-stirring winds are anticipated to blow through the Tabuk and Madinah regions. Residents in Jazan, Aseer, Al-Baha, and Makkah should prepare for the possibility of light rain and the formation of fog, which could affect visibility and travel plans.

The forecast for the Red Sea indicates that winds will vary across its length. In the northern part, winds are expected to be northeasterly to northerly, reaching speeds of 15-40 km/h. The central part will experience northerly to northwesterly winds at 12-30 km/h, while the southern part will see southerly to southeasterly winds at 10-40 km/h. Waves in the Red Sea are predicted to range from half a meter to one and a half meters, maintaining a relatively calm sea state.

For the Arabian Gulf, the forecast suggests northwesterly to westerly winds in the northern part at 12-38 km/h, and northwesterly to northerly winds in the central and southern parts at 25-50 km/h. Wave heights in the Gulf could reach from half a meter to over two meters, with sea conditions varying from calm to choppy.
