The Commander Of Rapid Reaction Squad Determines The Objectives Of Ongoing Security Operation In Maysan

BAGHDAD, The commander of the rapid reaction brigade, Major General Thamer al-Husseini identified the objectives of the ongoing security operation in Maysan province and the number of those arrested in the province.

"The objectives of the rapid reaction forces in Maysan province are three main things: the enforcement of security and law, implementing arrest warrants and resolve clans' disputes," he said in a statement.

He added, "The security operation in Maysan does not target the freedom of the citizen, but targets the wanted persons. Where eighty arrest warrants conducted, 40 wanted persons were arrested, 25 weapons were seized and a number of clans' disputes were resolved."
