BAGHDAD, The leader of the National Coalition Kadhem al-Shammari exposed to a new assassination attempt by improvised explosive device south of Baghdad.

A statement by the National Coalition said "in a new incident left, the former MP, and member of the National Coalition Kadhem al-Shammari exposed to an assassination attempt by a bomb explosion targeting his convoy on the way back from the district of Madaen south of Baghdad.

The National Coalition said that these attempts will not discourage him from carrying the flag of the national project and strive to achieve the hopes and aspirations of our steadfast people.
