Tight security measures in the vicinity of Tahrir Square in central Baghdad

BAGHDAD, the perimeter Al- Tahrir Square in central Baghdad and the roads leading to it witnessed today tight security measures in anticipation of the launch of a demonstration this evening.

The correspondent of the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) said that Al- Tahrir Square and the roads leading to it witnessed an intensive and unusual security presence to provide protection to the demonstrators in the event of a demonstration tonight."
