Traboulsi confirms presidential settlement has not collapsed

Strong Lebanon" Parliamentary bloc MP, Edgard Traboulsi, said on Wednesday that the presidential settlement had not collapsed, adding that the mandate has not failed and will not accept being defeated.

"We need to accelerate the formation of the government," he insisted, adding that "the head of the FPM, Caretaker Foreign Minister Gebran Bassil, did not intend, in his statements, to encourage people to resort to the street," the lawmaker said in an interview with the Voice of Lebanon radio station.
