Tuwaiq Sculpture Symposium 2025 Sees Participation of 30 International Artists

Riyadh: The sixth annual Tuwaiq International Sculpture Symposium started on Wednesday at ‘ROSHN Front’ and will run until February 8.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the event is held under the theme ‘From Then to Now: Joy in the Struggle of Making,’ featuring 30 artists from 23 countries. These artists will create public art sculptures using granite and basalt stones sourced from the Kingdom.

During the symposium, various activities such as discussion sessions, workshops, and educational trips will be organized. These activities provide visitors with an opportunity to explore the world of sculpture and witness the creative processes of the artists involved.

The Tuwaiq International Sculpture Symposium is a project under the Riyadh Art Program, which ranks among the largest public art initiatives globally. The program aims to transform Riyadh into a ‘gallery without walls,’ fostering creativity, enriching the lives of residents and visitors, and aligning with Saudi Vision 2030 to establish Riyadh as a global hub for art and culture.
