A ministerial amendment in Kuwait stipulates the appointment of 4 new Ministers to the government

The Kuwaiti authorities issued an Amiri decree today, Sunday, stipulating the amendment of the appointment of a number of Ministers and the appointment of other Ministers in the government of Sheikh Ahmed Al-Abdullah.

In accordance with Amiri Decree No. 140 of 2024 in Kuwait amending the cabinet – after reviewing the Constitution, the Amiri Order issued on 2 Dhu al-Qi’dah 1445 AH corresponding to May 10, 2024 AD, the Amiri Order issued on 6 Shawwal 1445 AH corresponding to April 15, 2024 AD appointing the Prime Minister, and Decree No. 73 of 2024 forming the ministry, and based on the proposal of the Prime Minister, the following is decided:

Article One: The appointment of each of the following names mentioned in Decree No. 73 of 2024 referred to shall be amended as follows:

1 – Abdulrahman Badah Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi as Minister of Information and Culture and Minister of State for Youth Affairs.

2 – Dr. Noura Muhammad Khalid Al-Mishaan as Minister of Public Works.

3 – Omar Saud Abdulaziz Al-Omar as Min
ister of State for Communications Affairs.

4 – Dr. Mahmoud Abdulaziz Mahmoud Bushehri as Minister of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy.

5 – Dr. Amthal Hadi Haif Al-Huwailah, Minister of Social Affairs, Family and Childhood Affairs.

Article Two: The following are appointed:

1 – Khalifa Abdullah Dhahi Al-Ajil Al-Askar, Minister of Trade and Industry.

2 – Abdul Latif Hamed Hamad Al-Mishari, Minister of State for Municipal Affairs and Minister of State for Housing Affairs.

3 – Dr. Nader Abdullah Mohammed Al-Jalal, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research and Acting Minister of Education.

4 – Noura Suleiman Salem Al-Fassam, Minister of Finance and Minister of State for Economic Affairs and Investment.
