Al-Hilal Claims Saudi Super Cup Title with 4-1 Victory Over Al-Nassr


Abha, Al-Hilal clinched the Diriyah Saudi Super Cup 2024, defeating rivals Al-Nassr 4-1 in the final held on Saturday night at Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Sports City Stadium in Abha, Aseer region. This victory marks the fifth time Al-Hilal has claimed the Super Cup in the club’s history.

The match was attended by President of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation (SAFF) Yasser bin Hassan Al-Misehal and CEO of Diriyah Gate Development Authority Jerry Inzerillo.

In the final minute of the first half, Al-Nassr scored a goal against Al-Hilal, with Cristiano Ronaldo converting a pass from Abdulrahman Ghareeb.

Al-Hilal opened the scoring in the early minutes of the second half with a goal from Serbian player Savic, assisted by his compatriot Mitrovic in the 55th minute. Mitrovic then added a second goal for Al-Hilal with a header in the 63rd minute. Shortly thereafter, Mitrovic scored Al-Hilal’s third goal in the 69th minute. As Al-Nassr struggled, Al-Hilal’s Malcom, returning from injury, scored the fourth goa
l in the 72nd minute.

Both teams made substitutions, but these did not affect the course or outcome of the match.
