Paris: The 100 Thieves was crowned champions of the Valorant tournament at the 2026 Esports World Cup, currently taking place in Paris through August 23, after defeating NRG Esports 3-1 in the final.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the title earned 100 Thieves the tournament's top prize of $600,000, along with 1,000 points toward the Esports World Cup Club Championship.

100 Thieves secured the championship after winning the opening two maps before NRG Esports reduced the deficit with a victory on Haven. Despite trailing 9-3 on Ascent, 100 Thieves mounted a remarkable comeback, forcing overtime before sealing the map 14-12 to clinch the title.

100 Thieves reached the final after recording two victories in the group stage to secure a place in the knockout rounds. The team then defeated MIBR.LOS in the quarterfinals and Nongshim RedForce, Masters Santiago champions, in the semifinals.

Earlier, Nongshim RedForce claimed third place after defeating BBL Esports in the third-place playoff, with BBL Esports finishing fourth in the tournament.
