Federal Police arrests a gang specialized in trafficking and promoting narcotic substances in the Shaab area

Federal Police Command forces arrested a gang specialized in trading and promoting narcotic substances in Al-Shaab area and seized substances for abuse in Al-Nahrawan district of Baghdad.

The Command stated in a statement that a force from the 19th Brigade, 5th Division, Federal Police, arrested in flagrante a gang of 3 defendants who was promoting narcotic substances in Al-Shaab area. They were found in their possession of (5 small bags filled with crystal narcotic substance, estimated at approximately 26 grams, and ampoules) used for the use of contaminated mobile phones.

The statement added that, pursuant to a judicial order, a force from the Second Brigade was able to carry out a search operation at the home of a defendant arrested earlier in the Nahrawan district, during which materials used for drug abuse were seized (7 contaminated drug pipes, a pistol store, in addition to 2 motorcycles without papers). The defendants were referred, along with the seized materials, to the competent authorities to co
mplete the investigative and legal procedures against them.

The Islamic Resistance announces the attack on a vital Israeli target in Haifa with an ‘Arqab’ missile

The Islamic Resistance announced on Friday evening that it had struck a vital target in Haifa, northern Israel, with an ‘Arqab’ missile.

The Islamic Resistance said in a statement: ‘In continuation of our approach to resisting the occupation and supporting our people in Palestine, and in response to the massacres committed by the Israeli entity against civilians, including children, women and the elderly, the Islamic Resistance in Iraq today, Friday, attacked a military target in occupied Haifa.’

It added in the statement that the targeting operation was carried out using the “developed cruise” Al-Arqab missile.

The Islamic Resistance confirmed that operations were continuing at an escalating pace.

A Palestinian journalist and his family killed in an Israeli bombing on Jabalia in the northern Gaza

Kuwait, Iraq, US conclude joint maritime exercise

Kuwait, The Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior announced the conclusion of the TRI/LAT maritime exercise involving Kuwait, the United States, and Iraq.

The exercise aimed to combat piracy, drug trafficking, and protect territorial and economic waters. Participants included the Kuwaiti Coast Guard, Kuwaiti Police Aviation, Kuwaiti Navy, US Coast Guard, and Iraqi Navy.

The training enhanced military cooperation and tested maritime communication readiness and operational manoeuvres.

Occupation forces fire live bullets at a house in Beit Ummar
