Jeddah: The Gulf Football Federation, in cooperation with the Local Organizing Committee, is adopting SafeTix technology for the 27th Gulf Cup, which Saudi Arabia will host in Jeddah Governorate from September 23 to October 6, 2026. The move aims to enhance digital ticket security, improve ease of use, and streamline stadium entry. According to Saudi Press Agency, Jeddah will host the tournament for the first time, with eight Gulf national teams competing in 15 matches at Alinma Stadium (King Abdullah Sports City Stadium) and Prince Abdullah Al Faisal Sports City Stadium. The technology allows fans to obtain and manage tickets and use them at stadium gates, while enhancing protection against counterfeiting and unauthorized use. Each fan can book up to six tickets per match and choose the matches they wish to attend during the group stage and knockout rounds.
