Riyadh: A 5.5 magnitude earthquake struck off the coasts of El Salvador, according to the U.S. Geological Survey yesterday.

According to Saudi Press Agency, it reported that the earthquake's epicenter was located at a depth of 56.8 kilometers. There were no immediate reports of casualties or damage.
