A 5.2 magnitude earthquake struck off the eastern coast of Honshu Island, in Japan.

The European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre stated that the epicenter of the earthquake was at a depth of 10 kilometers below sea level.

No casualties or material losses have been reported immediately.
