Wellington, Dec. 21, 2022, SPA -- An earthquake measuring 6.0 on the Richter scale rocked the Kermadec Islands off the coast of New Zealand in the South Pacific Ocean.
The European Mediterranean Seismological Center reported that the epicenter of the quake was at a depth of 141 km and 527 km northeast of Tauranga in New Zealand.
There have been no reports so far of human or material losses as a result of the earthquake.
