An armed man riding a motorcycle killed a Yemeni sheikh named Hammoud Ali Al-Saidi, while he was walking in a street in New York City, USA.
Ahmed Al-Saidi, the victim's son, told The Post that his father was heading to the Queens Mosque to pray when he was shot dead by an unknown person.
He added, "He had gone to the local park before heading to the mosque to pray, something he had been doing in the morning, when the gunman appeared behind him on a motorbike, pulled a gun and put a bullet in the back on the sidewalk of Jamaica Avenue."
He explained: "His father came to America from Yemen in 1962 for a better life and new opportunities. After he established himself, he brought the rest of his family."
