Rabat:The Academy of the Kingdom of Morocco held a ceremony today in Rabat to induct Prince Turki bin Faisal bin Abdulaziz, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies (KFCRIS), as an associate member.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the event was attended by Saudi Ambassador to Morocco Dr. Sami bin Abdullah Al-Saleh, along with various diplomats and cultural figures.
During the ceremony, Permanent Secretary of the Academy of the Kingdom of Morocco, Abdeljalil Lahjomri, commended Prince Turki's extensive experience in government, diplomacy, and research. He also noted Prince Turki's interest in history, culture, and international relations.
Prince Turki expressed his pride in joining the academy and highlighted his eagerness to strengthen cooperation between KFCRIS and the academy. He emphasized the goal of advancing Arab and Islamic thought and benefiting humanity through this collaboration.
