Madinah, November 2, 2022, SPA — The Agency of General Presidency for the Affairs of the Prophet’s Holy Mosque participated in the 2nd International Conference for Translation and the Language of Tourism, held at the University of Córdoba in Spain.

Undersecretary of the General President for Languages and Translation at the General Presidency for the Affairs of the Prophet’s Holy Mosque Dr. Mohammed Al-Onzi, through worksheet titled: “Visitors of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the work of interpreters as linguistic and cultural mediators at the Prophet’s Holy Mosque,” reviewed the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s top achievements in serving pilgrims and Umrah performers, in addition to the role of interpreters as a linguistic and cultural mediators and the role of translation in communication among peoples and harnessing the digital field and artificial intelligence to facilitate their access to services provided at the Prophet’s Holy Mosque and use them easily.
