AgriServ Receives Qatari Delegation to Review Quarantine Management Experience

Riyadh: The National Company for Agricultural Services (AgriServ) recently welcomed a delegation from the Qatari Ministry of Municipality to foster cooperation and share expertise in quarantine management. The aim of this collaboration is to protect livestock and prevent the spread of transboundary animal diseases.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the delegation took a comprehensive tour of AgriServ’s headquarters. They were informed about the company’s primary operations and the integrated services it offers in the veterinary and quarantine sectors. The visit also included an inspection of the International Quarantine for Horses in Janadriyah, where the delegation observed the facility’s operations and procedures.

During the field visit, the delegation examined the infrastructure of the quarantine center and learned about the stringent quarantine procedures that adhere to international biosecurity standards. AgriServ emphasized its ongoing efforts to boost operational efficiency and enhance the quality of services offered to its clients.

The International Quarantine for Horses in Janadriyah serves as the Kingdom’s central facility for managing all quarantine procedures related to horses.
