Jeddah: Al-Ahli defeated Al-Riyadh 5-0 today at Prince Abdullah Al-Faisal Sports City Stadium in Jeddah in matchweek five of the Saudi Pro League (Roshn Saudi League).

According to Saudi Press Agency, Al-Ahli opened the scoring from the penalty spot in the 16th minute before doubling the lead in the 43rd minute. They added a third in the second minute of first-half stoppage time to enter the break with a 3-0 advantage.

In the second half, Al-Ahli scored their fourth from a penalty in the 61st minute before adding a fifth in the 87th minute.

With the result, Al-Ahli raised their tally to nine points, provisionally placing seventh, while Al-Riyadh remained on four points in 12th place.
