Al-Alimi Extends Appreciation to Saudi Leadership for New SAR1.3 Billion Support

Riyadh: President of the Yemeni Presidential Leadership Council Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi on Thursday expressed his gratitude to the Saudi leadership for the new SAR1.3 billion economic support aimed at bolstering Yemen's budget, covering operational expenses, and paying salaries.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Al-Alimi thanked the Kingdom's leadership, represented by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for the continued support of the Yemeni people.

"This new support builds on the Kingdom's honorable stance with the Yemeni people and their political leadership," Al-Alimi said.

He added that the generous assistance sends a strong message of confidence in Yemen's recovery and the new government's ability to strengthen national institutions, maintain security and stability, and drive transformation at all levels.

Al-Alimi emphasized that the support reaffirms that the partnership with Saudi Arabia is "not a temporary arrangement, but a strategic choice for a brighter future."

He stressed the importance of rallying collectively around this promising partnership as a true guarantee for rebuilding state institutions, improving citizens' living conditions, and fulfilling the legitimate aspirations of the Yemeni people.
