Al-Azhar Grand Imam Praises Saudi Leadership’s Efforts in Serving Hajj Pilgrims

Cairo: Saudi Ambassador to Egypt Saleh Al-Husseini met today with Grand Imam of Al-Azhar Sheikh Ahmed Al-Tayeb in Cairo, where they reviewed several topics of mutual interest.

According to Saudi Press Agency, during the meeting, the grand imam expressed appreciation for the efforts of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, in serving pilgrims and supporting Arab and Islamic causes.

The grand imam prayed for the success of Saudi Arabia's efforts during the Hajj season. He stressed that serving Hajj pilgrims is a great honor and that the Kingdom's efforts are highly respected and appreciated.
