Al-Baha’s Raghadan Park Integrates Tourism Development with Natural Heritage

Al-baha: Raghadan Park in the Al-Baha Region exemplifies the integration of tourism development with the preservation of natural and environmental assets. Its dense juniper trees, vegetation, and development and recreational projects designed to complement the surrounding landscape attract both residents and visitors. The trees provide natural shade and inviting spaces for sitting and relaxation amid lush greenery. According to Saudi Press Agency, Al-Baha Municipality took into consideration the density, extent, and distribution of the trees when implementing development projects within the park. The winding pathways through the juniper trees are designed to follow the site's natural contours and the distribution of the trees, allowing visitors to explore the park and enjoy its facilities while preserving the surrounding vegetation. Care for the park's natural environment also extends to its valleys and flood channels, whose natural courses have been preserved and taken into consideration during the plannin g and implementation of development projects.
