Al-Laith Governor Reviews Hajj Preparations at Miqat Yalamlam

Al-laith: Governor of Al-Laith Omran Al-Zahrani conducted a field visit to the Miqat Yalamlam to review the operational programs, plans, and integrated services provided for receiving and transporting pilgrims to Makkah and the holy sites.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the site has undergone several development projects by the Royal Commission for Makkah City and Holy Sites, including improvements to the urban landscape and upgrades to public service facilities for visitors and pilgrims. These projects include the Miqat Yalamlam Mosque, which spans 10,000 square meters and can accommodate more than 5,000 worshippers. The site operates with the support of over 300 staff members and workers, as well as the participation of more than 400 volunteers.

The governor also reviewed the readiness of medical teams at Al-Laith General Hospital, which are working to intensify health awareness efforts for pilgrims, alongside a comprehensive mobile medical clinic operating around the clock. The governor listened to a briefing on the services provided by Al-Laith Municipality at the miqat, including the distribution of 20,000 meals and more than 500,000 bottles of water.
