Al-Maliki _Iraq is keen to consolidate relations with the State of Kuwait and resolve all problems

Head of the State of Law Coalition, Nouri Al-Maliki, confirmed today, Thursday, Iraq’s keenness to consolidate relations with the sisterly State of Kuwait and resolve all problems through the committees formed between the two countries.

A statement by his media office stated, “Al-Maliki received in his office today the Ambassador of the State of Kuwait, Tariq Abdullah Al-Faraj.”

During the meeting, according to the statement, issues of common interest were discussed, and the importance of achieving bilateral cooperation in various fields to serve the interests of the two brotherly peoples was emphasized.

The Head of the State of Law coalition indicated that Iraq seeks to strengthen its relations with all brotherly and friendly countries.

He has strategic relations with the State of Kuwait, pointing to Baghdad’s success in overcoming many challenges and that it was able to form a government capable of bearing responsibility and meeting the requirements of the people, expressing Iraq’s keenness to consolidate relations between the two brotherly countries and resolve all problems through the committees formed between the two countries.

For his part, the Kuwaiti Ambassador expressed his country's serious endeavor to develop and strengthen relations with the Iraqi government and people and build relations based on joint work and cooperation in various fields, praising Al-Maliki's positions and his great keenness to strengthen Iraqi-Kuwaiti relations.
