Riyadh: Al-Namas Governorate in Aseer Region is one of the Kingdom's top summer destinations, attracting visitors with its cool climate, seasonal rainfall, and dramatic mountain scenery, where mist, dense forests, and panoramic vistas converge to create a distinctive tourism experience.

According to Saudi Press Agency, among the governorate's main attractions is the Fog Walkway, situated at an elevation of more than 2,400 meters above sea level. Extending for more than seven kilometers, the walkway overlooks the slopes of the Sarawat Mountains and the Tihama plains. It features pedestrian paths, seating areas, rest stops, food and beverage kiosks, and stalls showcasing products by local artisans.

The walkway becomes especially captivating during periods of rainfall, when clouds envelop its paths, creating the impression of walking among the clouds. The surrounding landscape is transformed by lush vegetation, while rainwater flows through the rocks and trees, adding to the area's natural beauty.

Al-Namas is also home to a variety of parks, forests, scenic overlooks of the Tihama plains, heritage villages, and historic palaces that reflect the traditional architectural character of the Sarawat Mountains. Together, they offer visitors a destination that combines natural beauty with rich cultural heritage.
