Alama: Government formation in limbo

MP Fadi Alama on Wednesday indicated that the government formation was still in limbo as no serious efforts to speed up the process had been made.

Interviewed on Voice of Lebanon radio station, Alama said that the complications behind the delay were "internal" due to the absence of "clear standards."

On the House committees' election, the lawmakers maintained that the process took place within an atmosphere of "utter consensus" among all sides.
