Riyadh: Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Jasem Albudaiwi congratulated Amir of the State of Kuwait Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the government, and the Kuwaiti people on the 65th anniversary of National Day and the 35th anniversary of Liberation Day of Kuwait. According to Saudi Press Agency, Albudaiwi praised Kuwait's significant developmental and civilizational achievements, which reflect the strength of its national institutions and the soundness of its approach, grounded in wisdom and insight. He emphasized that Kuwait continues to consolidate its prominent status both regionally and internationally. He expressed his pride in Kuwait's pivotal role in supporting and enhancing joint Gulf action, as well as its efforts to strengthen solidarity and integration among GCC states. He noted that these efforts contribute to the causes of Arab and Islamic nations, reinforcing security and stability in the Gulf region and beyond. Albudaiwi concluded his statement by wishing for the security, stability, and prosperity of Kuwait, and hoping for further progress and well-being for its people under their wise leadership.
