Today, Friday, the Anbar Operations Command carried out preemptive operations to pursue the remnants of the defeated ISIS gangs.

A statement by the Ministry of Defense said that, in implementation of the directives of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, the units of the Land Forces Command, represented by the Anbar Operations Command and the units attached to it, began, on Friday morning, the implementation of a number of preemptive operations, which included inspecting the areas of Rahaliya (Wadi Thamil and Wadi Al-Qaff) in the desert west of Anbar, with support from the Air Force and Army Aviation.”

The statement added that the operation is taking place in several axes and under the direct supervision of the field commanders personally.
