Cairo: Secretary-General of the League of Arab States Nabil Fahmy received Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the League of Arab States Ambassador Abdulaziz Al-Matar at the league's headquarters in Cairo today.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Ambassador Al-Matar congratulated the secretary-general on assuming his new duties and wished him success in leading the General Secretariat during the coming period.

The meeting reviewed cooperation between Saudi Arabia and the League of Arab States and discussed regional developments and issues of mutual interest within the framework of joint Arab action.
