Arab Observatory for Human Rights condoles with Bahrain over fallen servicemen

The Board of Trustees of the Arab Observatory for Human Rights (AOHR) held its regular meeting today, under the chairmanship of Adel bin Abdulrahman Al Asoomi, Arab Parliament Speaker, marking AOHR’s eighth anniversary.

Members of the AOHR’s Board of Trustees observed a moment of silence for the fallen servicemen of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), who lost their lives while performing their sacred duty of defending the southern borders of Saudi Arabia, within the Operation Decisive Storm and Operation Restoring Hope, carried out by the Arab Coalition.

Addressing the meeting, Adel Al Asoomi, the AOHR’s Board of Trustees Chairman, condemned the act of aggression during which a number of BDF taskforce servicemen fell in the line of duty or were injured while defending the Arab and Islamic nations.

He extended deepest condolences to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, the BDF General Command and the Bahraini people.

Al Asoomi mourned the BDF’s late servicemen, praying to Allah the Almighty to rest their souls in eternal peace, and bless their families with patience and fortitude. He also wished the injured a speedy recovery.
