Arab Parliament Commends Saudi Royal Order to Host 1,000 Pilgrims from Families of Palestinian Martyrs, Prisoners, and Wounded

The Speaker of the Arab Parliament, Adel bin Abdulrahman Al-Assoumi, commended the royal order of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, to host 1,000 pilgrims from the families of martyrs, prisoners, and wounded of Palestine.

In a statement issued on Saturday, the Arab Parliament Speaker said the order reflects the tremendous support the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia provided to the Palestinian people and their just cause.

Al-Assoumi also praised the Kingdom's ongoing support of the Palestinian Cause, highlighting the great interest the Saudi leadership accords to the families of the Palestinian martyrs, in appreciation of them.

He stressed that the order would greatly alleviate their suffering, especially the families of the martyrs, prisoners, and the wounded.

He reaffirmed the Arab Parliament's steadfast and supportive stance for the Palestinian Cause as the leading and first Arab cause.

The Arab Parliament Speaker also emphasized the necessity of providing international protection to the Palestinian people and enabling them to enjoy their legitimate rights, establishing an independent Palestinian state with Al-Quds (Jerusalem) as its capital.
