The Arab Parliament has voiced its condemnation of storming the Bahraini embassy and the residence of its ambassador in Khartoum. The Arab Parliament considered such attacks a flagrant violation of the sovereignty of states and a blatant violation of the rules of international law and diplomatic agreements.
Speaker of the Arab Parliament Adel Al-Asoomi reiterated the parliament's denunciation of all forms of violence and vandalism that target diplomatic missions and their headquarters, calling on the Sudanese authorities to take the necessary measures to secure diplomatic buildings under these difficult circumstances in Sudan.
Al-Asoomi urged the Sudanese parties to reach a ceasefire agreement, abide by the decisions of the recent Arab Summit in Jeddah, create the atmosphere necessary for reaching a political solution and maintain dialogue to end the current crisis and preserve the unity and sovereignty of Sudan.
