Arab Parliament Speaker Denounces Iranian Missile Strikes on Jordan

Riyadh: Arab Parliament Speaker Mohammed bin Ahmed Al-Yamahi condemned the continued Iranian attacks on the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, which have targeted the country with a number of ballistic missiles. Al-Yamahi affirmed that the attacks constitute a blatant violation of Jordan's sovereignty and a breach of international law and the Charter of the United Nations, as well as a direct threat to Arab national security.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Al-Yamahi expressed the Arab Parliament's full solidarity with Jordan and its support for all measures taken by the country to protect its sovereignty, security, and stability, and safeguard its citizens and residents. The Arab Parliament speaker called on the international community and the United Nations Security Council to take decisive action to halt the attacks and ensure they are not repeated.
