Army reports new Israeli maritime breaches

The Army Command – Orientation Directorate – issued on Friday the following statement: “On 18/7/2018, between 12:40 and 13:02, an Israeli gunboat violated the Lebanese territorial waters off Ras al-Naqoura, at a distance of 540 meters.

On 19/7/2018, between 10:58 and 12:40, a similar enemy boat violated the Lebanese territorial waters opposite Ras al-Naqoura in four phases, and a maximum distance of about 555 meters.

The violations are being monitored in coordination with the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL).
